Guido Posso

Guido combines his strong academic preparation with an affinity for physical activity. Guido received his first personal training certification in 1996 and has been continually educating himself on the latest fitness findings and trends ever since. He enjoys bringing his knowledge and experience to the JCC clients and staff, while always learning from his peers. During his collegiate years, he was a strength and conditioning coach for Union College in NJ, and worked with children as a PE teacher for one year. He works with an eclectic mix of clients, ranging from the elderly in chronic pain, to kids and athletes wanting to improve athletic performance.

Irene McMahon Foster

Irene is an admitted sports and wellness crusader and has the background to prove it. As an undergraduate at Hunter College, she played basketball and, in her free time from studies in the theater and Spanish, worked in the Sports Medicine office. With over twenty years of experience in the personal training industry, Irene has worked at Equinox, a top level fitness facility in NYC, and operated her own personal training studio for over eight years. The combined experiences working with physical therapists at Equinox and managing her own business, has given Irene a passion for fitness and wellness that can be seen everyday at the JCC. She exudes confidence and compassion with all of her clients and leading various group exercise classes. Irene holds a Personal Trainer certification and is member of the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America [AFAA], with additional qualifications to lead the SilverSneakers Fitness Program and the Breast Cancer Survivor's Fitness Plan. Irene's passion for fitness is embodied in her philosophy when she is training her clients. Everyone is treated as an individual and is encouraged to be the best they can be. True fitness incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, and cardiovascular endurance. Regardless of fitness level in the beginning, Irene can assist you and help drive your ambition to hit your goals.

Bill Laznovsky

I have been a certified personal fitness Master Trainer with I.F.P.A [International Fitness Professional Association] accreditation since 2002. I am currently enrolled in the Physical Education program at HVCC and plan on transferring to Sage to complete my bachelor's degree. I have played collegiate soccer and have always had a knack for sports and fitness. I find each and every day working with clients at the JCC most fulfilling and rewarding. My personal philosophy is that hard work equals results. We start out slow, focusing on proper form. We then build the intensity little by little, jump starting your muscle growth and metabolism. I make sure to make each workout fresh and new as to avoid a fitness "plateau." I'm aware that every person is unique, with different goals and starting points, which calls for creativity and motivation in each session.
I use a blend of weight training and conditioning drills and expect my clients to follow that up with adequate aerobic exercise and stretching. Once I set these proven guidelines in motion, I'm confident my clients achieve their goals of weight reduction, increased flexibility, toning or bodybuilding, while increasing their self-confidence, overall health and well being.
