Remembrance of The Holocaust - Yom Hashoah

Live Broadcast of Holocaust Remembrance Day on Wednesday, April 7, at 1:00 P.M.

Until the Very Last Jew: Eighty Years Since the Onset of Mass Annihilation:  The ceremony will be held in the presence of the President of the State of Israel and the Prime Minister, dignitaries and Holocaust survivors.

 



YOM HASHOAH COMMUNITY COMMEMORATION  April 7, at 8:00 P.M.

Hosted by Captial District Board of Rabbis

Our community-wide commemoration will again be virtual as was last year’s and features ten local Shoah survivors lighting candles in memory of those lost. Please plan on watching on Wednesday evening, April 7 at 8:00 PM as we remember those who perished in the Shoah, affirm the heroism of the resisters and honor the survivors who emerged from the darkness of the Holocaust to build new lives and new families, strengthen Jewish communal institutions, and help create the State of Israel. The commemoration will be available at facebook.com/JewishFederationNENY. No registration is necessary for this Facebook live presentation.



 

2021 International March of the Living on Thursday, April 8, at 10 A.M.

International March of the Living will hold a Virtual March on Holocaust Remembrance Day led by Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin, Holocaust survivors, Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion, Jewish Agency Chair Yitzhak Herzog, KKL Chair Avraham Duvdevani and Rabbi Israel Meir Lau.
