Come be part of the Albany/Schenectady JCC Maccabi Team!

 

The JCC Maccabi Games are Olympic style games held every year for Jewish teens ages 13-16.  This year our team is going to Detroit, MI to join over 3000 other Jewish teens from around the country and the world to compete in the games.  Detroit will be offering the following sports to compete in.

 

-16 u Baseball                          -Girls and Boys 16 u Basketball

-In-line Hockey                        -Girls and Boys 7 v 7 Soccer

-Softball                                   -Volleyball

-Bowling                                  -Dance

-Golf                                        -Swimming

-Table Tennis                           -Tennis

-Track & Field

 

This is a fantastic experience for you to be part of a team and meet 1000’s of other Jewish Teens!  Each athlete will stay with 2 or 3 of your teammates at a host family from the Detroit area for the week.  Tournament style games will be played during the day and at night there are evening events.  Opening Ceremonies will be held at The Palace of Auburn Hills, home of the Detroit Pistons and Detroit Shock!  Wednesday evening event will be at Ford Field home of the Detroit Lions!
