The Middle School Leadership Enrichment Program (MSLEP) at the Robert and Dorothy Ludwig Schenectady JCC is a program for tweens, grades 6-8, and is designed to offer after school programming for your middle school student with the opportunity to learn and practice leadership skills. Each month there will be a skill focus that the participants will work to develop and have weekly workshops on Mondays with counselors to discuss, practice, and strategize how to accomplish the skill development.
The Middle School Leadership Enrichment Program aligns with the After School Enrichment Program which serves students in grades 1st-5th. This pro-gram will give your middle schooler an opportunity to participate, assist, and even lead activities. They will be given the opportunity to learn skills such a setting goals, problem solving, and being a leader.
Participants will be provided with daily snacks, and will be supervised at all times. MSLEP provides a safe place for tweens to come after school and a fun social atmosphere.
