MASEP
The Robert and Dorothy Ludwig Schenectady Jewish Community
Center’s Middle School program is designed for children in grades 6-8. This program includes a flexible afternoon
schedule designed to appeal to your middle school child’s hobbies and
interests.
Your child also has an opportunity to
join many of the After School Enrichment Program classes or assist counselors
in their classes. Classes include arts and crafts, cooking, sports, homework
help and more.
MASEP
participants will be provided with a daily snack, and will be supervised at all
times. MASEP
provides a safe place for children to come after school. It also provides a fun social atmosphere for
your child during the afternoon.
Because we understand that middle school
children want their independence, we’ve created a program that allows an equal
balance of freedom and supervision by adults.
The middle school students will be given the opportunity to be role
models to the other children who attend the JCC in the afternoon.
Daily Schedule
Half-Days
MASEP
provides additional care for children on school half-days. This is included in your fee, as long as your child is regularly scheduled
to attend the program on that day.
School Vacations & Snow Days
The
JCC also offers school vacation day programs.
These are available at an additional charge and you must pre-register
your child for each day you would like him or her to attend.

IS GIVEN FOR UNUSED TIME*
To secure your child(ren)’s space in the program, you must remit a deposit of
10% of the total fee, which is non-refundable, but is applicable towards the
last month of tuition.
Scholarships are given on a limited
basis and can be arranged by contacting the Membership Director
at the JCC at 377-8803.
